Capability

Offset printing.

High-quality offset printing is behind much of Printfix's packaging (product cartons, corrugated mailers and paper bags), with foil, spot UV and lamination added on top.

Why offset

Print quality you can see on the shelf.

  • Sharp, consistent colour

Offset transfers ink from a plate to a rubber blanket and then to the sheet, giving crisp text, clean fine lines and even colour across a run.

  • CMYK & Pantone

Full-colour CMYK for photography and illustration, and Pantone colours where a brand shade has to be exact, like the dark green Pantone on our Nzuri boxes.

  • Coated, kraft & coloured stock

Printed on art paper, board and corrugated liners, including white ink on coloured and kraft stocks.

  • Finished after print

Offset sheets then take matte, gloss or soft-touch lamination, spot UV, foil stamping and embossing.

From file to finished piece

How an offset job runs.

  1. 01

    Artwork & digital proof

You approve a digital proof before anything is printed. Screens show RGB and print uses CMYK, so minor colour variation is normal.

  2. 02

    Print

The approved artwork is printed offset on the chosen stock.

  3. 03

    Finish & convert

Lamination, spot UV, foil or embossing, then cutting and forming into boxes, cartons or bags.

  4. 04

    Check & deliver

A final quality check, then on-time delivery.
